AAAI Round 1 was launched in 2022 bringing together 24 teachers from different schools in the West Bank and Gaza supported by 8 mentors from the Qaddumi community. Working in groups, teachers came up with 12 creative projects from ideation to implementation.

Now we are glad to announce the launch of Round 2 targeting 120 teachers from the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Gaza Strip in addition to 32 mentors and 5 trainers.
If you are one of the creative Palestinian teachers passionate about improving the educational process and making a difference in students’ lives, we invite you to apply for AAAI Round 2.
To participate in Round 2,
teachers must:
Form a team of three teachers
Taking the following into consideration:
- Participation is open to grade 1 to 12 teachers
- A team may include teachers from different schools.
- Participation is open to teachers of different subjects.
Identify a challenge you face in your educational environment
Taking the following into consideration:
- Challenges must fall under one of these themes: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STE(A)M) approach to education.
- Teams must design and develop a project that contributes to solving this challenge.
Preparing necessary documents
These documents include the following:
- A signed and stamped official letter from the school stating the teacher’s job description and approving his/her participation in the program and all its required workshops, meetings, and assignments.
- A recent photo
Create an introductory video for each team member
Taking the following into consideration:
- Videos must include an introduction about the teacher mentioning his/her reasons for participation and his/her expectations from the program.
- Videos must be recorded individually noting that group videos are not accepted.
- Videos must be uploaded to YouTube adding its link to the application. Videos should range from 2 to 3 minutes.

After completing the previous steps, get ready to join AAAI Round 2 by filling in the application.
